Who is ChaletFilms.com ?

ChaletFilms is a registered trade mark from Chalet Pointu sarl, based in Paris, created by people passionated by animation, short films and documentaries. Our goal is to share our passion and to allow to as many as possible to have access to films from every country, developping their diffusion.

We have put up this DVD site, hopping it will satisfy your curiosity for this kinds of films. If you'd like to see more films, please let us know.

Chalet Pointu is also a DVD publisher. We are doing "classic publishing", but we also set up a manufacturing system "on demand" that allow small quantities publishing, fitting the cutting edge subjects that interests us. Please ask us more on that subject and submit your films for review.

Chalet Pointu and environment

To manufacture or have our DVDs manufactured, in order for us to satisfy your and our needs, we use a lot of energy.
Meanwhile, we try to limit as much as we can this pollution : we ride a bike in town, we use bicycle runners, we are on a renewable energies only program for electricity, we use recycled paper, recycled and not printed envelopes, we sort our waistes, we choose our suppliers close to us to avoid international transportation, we are financed by a solidarity fund...

Finally, to compensate the CO2 generated by the sale of a DVD (shipping mainly), we commited ourselves to the non-profit association actioncarbone.org to give them 0,05€ per DVD sold. actioncarbone.org will then develop non-poluting activities or plant trees that will compensate our CO2 generation.

We will also give 0,05€ to actioncarbone.org for each DVD from the Chalet Pointu collection buy outside the ChaletFilms.com network.
